Hi friends!  This outfit is likely going to be what I will be wearing for Christmas this year and I can’t wait.  What I love about this dress is that it’s so different.  Instead of something short, and red or green, it’s this long beautiful turquoise color with lace detailing.  It almost has a vintage look to it, which I think makes it very glamorous looking for a holiday.  What’s even more amazing is that I got it in store for half price at H&M ($25.00)!  I added some pearls for a little extra glam, but I think a shiny statement necklace would also add to the look.  Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone!  What are your holiday plans?

Love,

Nicole ♡

Hi friends!  We all love to save a little money when possible.  Skirts for the fall and winter are something I like to save on because let’s face it…most days it’s just too dang cold to break out the skirt (I’m totally putting that money toward some L.L. Bean boots instead).  So, in this outfit I’m actually not wearing a skirt at all.  The skirt I appear to be wearing is a dress.  Layering sweaters over your dresses is an amazing way to expand your wardrobe without spending a dime.  It is also a great way to take pieces from the spring/summer and make them cold weather appropriate.

Hi friends!  I hope everyone had a fun Halloween!  My boyfriend Craig and I dressed up as Bugs and Lola from Space Jam.  If you wanna see the pics you can go look at my Twitter: NicoleLauren___  (it has three underscores).  Anyway,  I love this outfit because even though its sporty and casual, it still looks really put together in my opinion!

Funny thing about this look…that sweater isn’t actually cropped!  If you have a long sweater, and you want the shirt your wearing under it to peep out, try rolling it up a little!  I tried to make the gingham shirt pop wherever I could so i rolled it over the sweater sleeves and pulled the collar out.

Sidenote…how gorgeous does the lake look with all those autumn colors??

Gingham shirt: Forever 21

Hi!  So, a few days ago I went pumpkin picking.  Let me just start off by saying I LOVE pumpkin picking.  However, the one thing that was disappointing about this trip was that we (as in my boyfriend Craig and I) were supposed to go apple picking too because this farm also has an apple orchard.  Well, we got there and all the apples were already all picked.  ):  It was a bummer, but it’s alright because we got some very pretty pumpkins to carve and paint.  (You’ll see those in a few days in my next DIY) (:

As for my outfit…
