Okay, so I spoke waaaay too soon with the whole “it’s been a mild winter thing.”  Last weekend we were hit with the Jonas blizzard and as you can see by the huge piles of snow it was pretty intense!  I was basically trapped inside all last weekend, but it was so incredibly relaxing doing nothing for three days straight. Although it’s super cold, I’m obsessed with the way that the camel and brown in my outfit pop against the white snow and my white pants.  There’s something really striking about neutral colors against a blank canvas.  I hope you guys have a happy Friday and a great weekend!

Dress: H&M (similar style) // Stole: Dress Gal (under $10!) // Necklace: Forever 21 (similar) // Bag: H&M // Shoes: ALDO (similar)  // Hair clip: vintage (similar)

The only thing I love more than a holiday party is a formal holiday party.  This white faux fur stole is the perfect accessory to add a little extra glam to any dress in your closet.  I also love tucking it into my coats and wearing it like a collar.  Accessories can make all the difference!  I also like to add a touch of sparkle whenever I go to a party, so I incorporated a shiny hair barrette and bold statement necklace.  What’s your favorite holiday party accessory?

P.s. I linked a few other long lace dresses that I think would be really cute for formal holiday parties!

If you don’t already own them, I highly recommend picking up a pair of pants in this oxblood shade!  I get some much wear out of these in the fall and winter because they go so well with all different prints and patterns (like this leopard one for instance.)  I love how they can instantly dress up any top in your closet. Depending on your job, you can also get away with wearing them to some offices as opposed to a basic pair of blue jeans.  Multi-functional? Total win!
