I have a confession…I am so obsessed with my blanket scarf that I actually had to come up with more ways to wear it in order to feel better about it. Hopefully some of you share this addiction and I want you to know that we will get through this together! One of the easiest ways to get away with wearing something way too much is to change up how you style it. The blanket scarf can be worn a number of different ways, but my personal favorite is the cape!
Here’s how to do it:
Step 1: Lay your scarf flat on the floor. It should look like a large square when spread out.
Step 2: Fold a corner of your blanket so that it is touching the corner that is directly diagonal to it. Now your scarf should look like a triangle.
Step 3: Wrap the triangle around your shoulders so that it drapes down near the front of your legs.
Step 4: Using a belt, finish the look by securing the cape at your waist.
That’s it! I hope you love wearing it like this as much as I do! (:
Hi friends! The 4th of July is approaching pretty quickly and I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to spend my long weekend relaxing by the pool, eating some yummy bbq and sitting in the grass for a fireworks show. My holiday is going to be a pretty casual one, so I planned for a festive, yet comfortable outfit choice. I’m normally the type of girl who will take any excuse to wear a dress, but sometimes keeping it simple in a pair of shorts and a tank top is just what I need. This NYX “Perfect Red” is my go-to red lipstick by the way. I wear it with everything. Hope everyone has an amazing weekend and a happy 4th! Thank you for reading and of course for all of your support! (: xoxo

Hi friends! This right here is a new one for me. I’ve never tried all white with a bold color to compliment, but I love how it turned out! This is a great way to look put together without really trying (which is usually what I aim for). If you’ll notice I’m only wearing a plain white t-shirt underneath, but it gets lost because of the matching white jeans, (which is exactly what you want). It gives the illusion of a much fancier outfit than it actually is. Thanks for reading!

Hi friends! It’s unbelievable that it’s almost 2015. This dress was a Christmas present that I asked for this year. It’s from the Bethany Mota Collection at Aeropastle and it’s so soft and comfortable! I can’t wait to wear it for New Year’s. With a room full of people wearing sequins and sparkles, this dress is sure to stand out in a different kind of way. The velvet gives the dress some texture drama, and with some sparkly accessories and shoes to glam it up, you are sure to be partying in style.
Happy New Year’s everyone and thank you for reading! (:
