Hi! I find that sometimes a holiday seems so far away and then all of a sudden… its here! If that’s the case with you too, you may not have given yourself enough time to make something cute and delicious for that Halloween party you’re throwing. Maybe you just wanted to make something sugary for yourself while you watch Halloweentown, but didn’t find the time. Either way, you want something fast that still looks cute enough to Instagram because Halloween is almost here!
Here’s some ideas…
This is so simple its practically self-explanatory. Head over to Dunkin Donuts and grab yourself as many donuts as you will need. I recommend going with the chocolate frosted, vanilla frosted, or plain glazed because they are basic colors. You can make them look a little more Halloween themed than some of the other donuts available. Ex: pink frosted (doesn’t really scream Halloween). Add some M&M’s for eyes by pushing them gently into the frosting of your choice. I think the red M&M’s look particularly vampire-ish. Last, we need the teeth. Dollar Tree and Party City sell bundles of fake teeth for very low prices. Dollar Tree has 10 for a dollar!
Vampire Kiss Floats
-Vanilla Ice Cream
This float is so perfect for a last minute drink idea. You only need two ingredients! If you have it, this drink looks really cute in a mason jar. You can purchase jars at Michaels, Jo-Ann Fabrics, Stop&Shop etc. Start by filling your cup with some Hawaiian Punch. Leave a good amount of space between the top of your cup and the Hawaiian Punch. Take a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream (I used Friendly’s brand) and carefully put it on the top of your Hawaiian Punch. When the ice cream starts to melt into your punch, it’s gonna taste so yummy! Top it off with a paper straw and some vampire teeth and your set! (You can get both at Dollar Tree or Micheals)
Hope you guys enjoyed these Halloween treat ideas and thank you for visiting my blog! (:
Hi! So, a few days ago I went pumpkin picking. Let me just start off by saying I LOVE pumpkin picking. However, the one thing that was disappointing about this trip was that we (as in my boyfriend Craig and I) were supposed to go apple picking too because this farm also has an apple orchard. Well, we got there and all the apples were already all picked. ): It was a bummer, but it’s alright because we got some very pretty pumpkins to carve and paint. (You’ll see those in a few days in my next DIY) (:

Hi! For awhile now, I have been searching for a really nice matte red lip for the fall. I really don’t often buy a bright red lip, and when I have in the past, I’ve found that some have more of an orange hue rather than that bold and rich red. The MAC brand undeniably makes some beautiful lipstick shades, so I went on the hunt to find a less expensive brand with comparable color to MAC’s most popular red lipstick.
NYX’s “Perfect Red” is such a great dupe for MAC’s “Russian Red”! I cannot describe how amazing this color is. It goes on so smoothy, and it has pretty good staying power as well. I had this on the other day, and decided I didn’t want to go to class wearing such a loud lipstick, so I went to take it off to put on a more nude color and I actually had to really wipe my lips to get this stuff off (which is great)! Highly recommend guys!
Also, apparently in The Devil Wears Prada, Anne Hathaway actually wore MAC’s Russian Red in one particular scene so I have a picture of that linked here just in case you wanted to compare the dupe for yourself (:
I hope this was helpful and thanks for visiting my blog!
Hi loves! So, if you couldn’t already tell from my DIY Tumblr binders post, I LOVE Ariana Grande. I think she always looks very classic and well put together. The whole Audrey Hepburn and Breakfast at Tiffany’s vibe she rocks is timeless looking. Therefore, I thought it was time I did an outfit of the day inspired by one of Ariana’s classic looks. Now keep in mind this isn’t EXACTLY what Ariana wore to the iheartradio awards (pictured here). This look is meant to be inspired by her style and is SIMILAR to something she may have worn or would wear.
Lets get into it! (: To start, I found this cute cowl neck sweater dress at H&M. I was inspired to wear my round sunglasses by this picture Ariana posted to her Instagram a while back. I think they add something extra to a simple look like this. The white boots I appear to be wearing are actually not boots at all. I took some white knee high socks and paired them with white heels. I finished the look with a Chanel quilted bag that my Nana passed down to me because Ariana loves the Chanel brand. However, I saw many less expensive alternatives at Forever21! See some quilted alternatives here, here, and here. (:
Of course, I had to wear my hair in Ariana’s signature do. It’s very simple actually! Grab all the hair on the side of your head by your ears, and the hair on top of your head and pull it together like your about to wear a ponytail. I recommend brushing it several times before actually committing to pulling it back so it comes out very smooth and bump-free. Secure with a hair tie. Now, instead of curling all of your hair grab a curling iron or wand (I use the Conair Infiniti Wand) to curl the ends of your hair. I recommend curling some small and some small and some large sections. Finish with some hairspray allover. My current favorite is ThermaSilk’s heat activated hairspray. It has incredible hold and smells so good.
I hope you guys enjoyed this celebrity inspired look and let me know if you would like more outfit of the days like this one! I’m thinking a Blair Waldorf next. (; What do you guys think?

Hi beauties! Who says that bright colors are only reserved for the summer and spring? You can absolutely pull off wearing these brights in the fall! So, whats the secret?
These are a few of my personal tips, but are by no means set rules! Rock this look however you like. (:
Tip #1: Wear a dark colored top. It doesn’t have to be black, just choose something that isn’t colorful. If you are wearing dark colored pants, wear a bright colored top.
Tip #2: Don’t go overboard! A pop of color here and there makes enough of a statement. There’s no need to go crazy! It will take away from the drama that your one or two colorful pieces add.
Tip #3: If you are wearing bright colored pants and a scarf like mine, I would personally go with either a black or neutral purse and shoes. Adding too much color will become overload and it will take away from your “fall” look. Additionally, steer clear of too many patterns.
Tip #4: Don’t be afraid to rock some bright nails with this look! Matching the nails with one of your accessories will make for a very pulled together look.
