Couple Costume Ideas For Halloween

Ball Gown Prom Dresses

Craig and I have done a couple costume for Halloween every year that we have dated so far (that’s 4, and this year will be 5!).  A.K.A. excuse the terrible photo quality – these were all clearly taken on a phone forever ago lol, but with Halloween coming up I thought it would be the perfect time to share them!  Here are a few couple costume ideas to get you inspired for Halloween:

1. Jesse and Woody from Toy Story

As avid Disney fans, this is one of two Disney themed costumes that we have done in the past 4 years.  Craig bought the shirt and hat for his look as “Woody” from Amazon and I DIYed my outfit by gluing cow print fabric from Jo-Ann onto a pair of old jeans.  I bought a cow girl hat and wore with a bandana, belt, booties and white shirt that I already had.  This was definitely one of my favorite costumes!

2. Sandy and Danny from Grease

This was by far one of our easiest couple costumes to put together.  We dressed in all black and I curled my hair really short with this 1-inch curling wand (my hair was way past my chest at the time) and threw on some red lipstick and white heels.  Not pictured are the candy cigarettes we bought to tote around.

3. Bob and Helen (Mom & Dad) from The Incredibles

You can tell by the extra awful picture quality that this was our first Halloween together haha!  This was the only costume that we actually went to a Halloween store to purchase.  I found the same ones on Amazon here and here.  Craig’s mom is a teacher and we went to her school that year to visit the little kids and I remember a bunch of them asking if we were the “real” incredibles.  It was so funny and adorable.

4. Bugs and Lola from The Tune Squad

Following the year of the incredibles, Craig and I were Bugs and Lola as a part of a larger group costume. Our whole group of friends decided to be the Tune Squad.  We ordered the shirts off of Etsy, but mine ended up being pretty long so I wore it as a dress with some high socks and sneakers that I already had in addition to bunny ears that I bought.  Craig kept is simple and paired his with gym shorts and Jordans.  I found them on Amazon for you guys here and here, but I think you could just as easily DIY these by getting iron-on transfer paper and printing out the logos.

This year we are going to be a firefighter and dalmatian, which I’m pretty excited for!  😊  You can follow along on Instagram if you want to see pictures.
